still waiting

I`m still waiting my Polycarbonat sheets to be able to continue my work
on the Frog Topwater lures.

Tried to continue the carving of my Fish Jerkbait but it was a big disaster and
i needet to rework the carved scales.

Now i have decided to only keep the carved mouth area.
Today i will check the balast weight and will start with airbrushing if possible.

Topwater Frog with his Friends & new Project

Hello together,

here you can see the results of my mold building. I have now reproduced 4 Frogs but
at the moment i need to wait some ordered items to be able to finish them completely.
I think it will take some days until i will receive my order.

That i dont lose too much time with waiting on the shipment company i have decided
to start simultaneously a second carving project.

(sorry for the bad picture quality, it is still night here in germany and only with the flashlight
of the camera it is difficult to get good pictures)

Nachdem ich es mir einfach beim Fotografieren gemacht habe, Handy raus Foto und posten....
Habe ich mich nun doch dazu entschlossen meine Spiegelreflexkamera zu verwenden.
Die Jerks kommen einfach viel eher so rüber wie sie wirklich sind.

Nachdem ich mir ein paar Gedanken gemacht habe, bin ich auf eine ganz lustige Airbrush Methode gekommen bei der man ein ganz verrücktes Design herstellen kann dafür das muster Jedoch bei jedem Jerk und auf jeder Jerk Seite unterschiedlich (aber ähnlich) sein wird.

Das hier ist dabei entstanden.

Another Camera !

After i have understand that i make it to easy to picture my work with my mobile phone,
i have decided to change to my proffesional camera.
With my mobile phone the work that i do looks not similar to what i have at home.

After some breakstorming i have find a new funny solution for airbrushing with that i can
create some crazy designs. The only bad thing is that im not able to get a similar pattern
on both sides of my jerkbaits. But i can achiev a nearly similar design and my oppionion is
that it looks really nice.

So nachdem ich gestern Abend wieder zum Airbrushen gekommen bin, habe ich euch wieder 2 fertige Jerks zum präsentieren. Mal wieder 14cm Jerks langsam sinkend aber ich bin einfach so begeistert von dieser Größe und sinkeigenschaften das ich einfach nicht aufhören kann welche zu bauen ;)

So, yesterday evening i was able to Airbrush and thats why im able to show you 2 finished Jerkbaits.
They are once again 14cm long and slow sinking because im excited about this length and sinking 
properties that i cant stop to build some of them ;)

Small language update

Hallo alle Zusammen,
hier ein kleiner Update für die nicht Deutschsprachigen da draußen. Damit auch unsere nicht Deutschsprachigen Freunde da draußen auch mit lesen können und nicht nur Bilder betrachten müssen, wird nun jeder Beitrag und später dann auch das Jerkbait Wiki zweisprachig gehalten.

Die weiße Schrift bleibt in deutsch und die blaue ist von nun an Englisch. Die alten Beiträge wurden ebenso nachträglich übersetzt.

here we have now a small update for the people outside that don't understand the german language.
That all the people outside that don't understand the german language i have decided to translate from now on all the new posts that you can also read what here happens and don't need only to take a look at the pictures.

The white text is still in german and the blue text is now for you guys in english. The old post was also translated (excuse me for my not perfect basic shool english but i hope it can help you)

Barschdekor

So meine 3 Barschdekore sind nun auch epoxiert und können fotografiert werden, noch eine schicht Epoxy dann sind diese fertig :)


So my 3 new Bass designs have now the first two epoxy clearcoats. Thats why i can show you some pictures. One more epoxy clearcoat and the Jerkbaits can be used for fishing :)

Dieser hier ist nicht falsch herum sondern er soll einen auf dem Rücken schwimmenden Fisch immitieren ;) habe eine eher schwanzlastige Bebleiung erreicht die denJerk nicht sinkend sondern ganz leicht schwimmend macht. In der Hoffnung das der Kopf dann beim auftreiben schräg nach oben zeigt.´

Nemo Jerkbaits

Heute gibt es mal wieder etwas neues zu sehen.

Hier nun ein 14cm langer langsam sinkender Jerk im Nemo Design. Er wiegt 60gramm und hat einen schönen Walk the dog lauf.

Today i have something new to show you.

Here we have a 14cm (5.5 inch) long with a weight of 60gramm (2.12 oz) Nemo Jerkbait, it is slow sinking with a nice walk the dog.

Winter 2014 Jerks

Damit das letzte Jahr nicht vergessen wird, zeige ich euch noch einige Jerks die ich vor den Feiertagen fertigstellen konnte.

Diese ganzen Jerks haben eine Größe von 12 – 15cm mit einem Gewicht zwischen 55-70 gramm. Diese sind alle langsam und ganz langsam sinkend. Beim leichten Zupfen machen die Jerks schöne lange zick zack bahnen. Beim Spinnstop schweben diese ganz langsam zum Grund.

That we don’t forget the last year, i will also show you some Jerkbaits that i was able to finish before the Christmas holidays.

All those Jerks have a dimension from 12 – 15 cm ( 4.72 – 5.91 inches ) with a weight of 55-70 gramm ( 1,9401 oz - 2,4692 oz ). They are slow and very slow sinking. By giving them small twitches they achieve a nice walk the dog with long lanes. By Twitch stops the lures are floating slowly in direction of the ground.
